choosing love over hate

happy sunday all!

welcome to sunday goods, thanks for being here!!!!

lets talk -

every time we turn on the news or scroll through our phones, it feels like the world is louder than ever: louder in conflict, louder in division, louder in pain.

hate has a way of creeping into spaces where love & understanding should live.

& while we can’t control the entire world, we can control the small pieces of it that we touch every single day.

mental health & the state of our hearts are deeply tied to the energy we surround ourselves with.

when we live in a cycle of judgment, anger, or fear, our bodies & minds feel it.

stress rises, peace disappears, & hope feels far away.

but when we choose love, when we choose empathy, kindness, & forgiveness: we not only heal ourselves, we start to heal the world around us.

that’s what this space is all about, Sunday Goods was created to remind us that good things grow when we nurture them.

& love is something worth nurturing.

in the middle of everything happening in the world, it’s important to remember what many great voices have stood for: unity, resilience, & faith in something bigger than ourselves.

it doesn’t take politics to understand that people who truly change the world do it by refusing to let hate be the last word.

they remind us that strength doesn’t come from fighting harder, it comes from choosing compassion even when it’s not easy.

we can each be that reminder: a kind word, a smile to a stranger, checking in on a friend who’s quiet, offering forgiveness when it would be easier to stay bitter.

none of these things make the news, but they make a difference.

they make life gentler for others, & they make our own mental health stronger.

hate will always try to divide.

love will always unite.

& unity is where healing lives.

so this week, let’s each do one thing that spreads love instead of hate.

because the truth is: the future of our world, our communities, & our mental health depends on it.

love you always,

elle
